Perception is another piece of art that surrounds the problems which some females face today. This artwork is all about people who are suffering from body dysmorphic disorder. You can find out more about it in [link] It is basically the obsession of an imagined or minor flaw in one's appearance.

In this picture, the feathers falling represent the time flying past her and the fireflies represents the hope she was given but instead, she rejected them. There is also a barrier between her and the outside world for she does not want others to know of how ugly she looks. As a result, time passes very slowly and is also wasted as she spends every minute and second of the day minding about her appearance.

This artwork is dedicated to one of my favourite artist . Her artworks are simply inspirational and no doubt that this piece has also been inspired by her.
